Image Insights: Downpour

An image of many colorful umbrellas, upside down and filling with rain.

This one will be short and sweet.

In this image, it's only raining into the upside down umbrellas. The rest of the scene is dry.  Maybe too dry. I wanted the umbrellas to represent people, and the rain to represent feelings and experiences. As each of us gets filled up, it's important to be able to let some of that go.

In short, holding in your feelings helps no one. Especially not you.

Just because you can keep a lot inside doesn't mean you should.  There is a sweet spot between always pouring your heart out and keeping it tucked away.  Eventually you'll overflow, so let it spill a bit when you need to. You may even grow a little in the process.
